Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Jan. 19-23. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Jan. 20

    Jessica Hightower, 28, of Brooks, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Crocket Road. 

    Laurie J. Ireland, 53, of Swanville, was issued summonses for failure to provide proof of insurance and failure to register a vehicle (30-150 days) on Searsport Avenue. 

    Shaniah M. Gilley, 18, of Unity, was arrested for operating after suspension and violating conditions of release on Route 3.

    Kenneth R. Briggs Jr., 26, (no address given), was arrested for domestic violence terrorizing and violating a protective order on Patterson Hill Road. He was also issued a summons for violating a protective order. 

    Jan. 21

    Amber Church, 18, of Belfast, was issued summonses for theft, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia. 

    Carrie L. Hughes, 36, of Belfast, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Macleod Lane. 

    Jan. 22

    Michael H. Reynolds, 38, of Belfast, was arrested for operating after revocation on Woods Road. 

    Kathleen Gray, 67, of Belfast, was issued a summons for speeding 54 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue. 

    Jan. 23

    Richard York, 58, of Waldo, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Marsh Road.
