Belfast Police beat: criminal mischief, theft, speeding

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity May 16-20. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    May 16

    Christopher D. Nolan, 34, of Oakland, was issued a summons for speeding 52 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1. 

    May 17

    Jayson R. Emrich, 19, of Belfast, was arrested for criminal mischief (two charges) at Circle K on Belmont Avenue.

    May 18

    Tyler C. Muzzy, 32, of Bangor, was issued summonses for an inspection sticker violation, failure to provide proof of insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle (150+ days) on Searsport Avenue.

    Brian K. Littlefield, 42, of Belfast, was issued summonses for a seat belt violation and operating after suspension.

    Anthony J. Diaferio, 23, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating a motorized bicycle/moped without a license/endorsement on Franklin Street.

    Jason A. Whitmore, 19, of Swanville, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Starrett Drive.

    Sasha A. Laflamme, 25, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Northport Avenue. 

    May 20

    Carlo W. Calcasola, 28, of Indian Island, was arrested for unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on City Point Road.
