Belfast Police beat: Assault, speeding, domestic violence

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity May 14-20. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    May 2 (late entry)

    Paul J. Nadine, 62, of Belfast, was issued a summons for speeding 59 mph in a 30 mph zone on Marsh Road.

    May 14

    Sandra L. Francoeur, 61, of East Baldwin, was issued a summons for speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph zone on Lincolnville Avenue.

    Robert E. Nichols, 68, of Brooks, was issued a summons for speeding 44 mph in a 30 mph zone on Marsh Road.

    Christopher Whitcomb, 41, of Belmont, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Waldo Avenue.

    Ellen J. Sawyer, 66, of Belfast, was issued a summons for speeding 34 mph in a 15 mph zone on Swan Lake Avenue.

    John J. Seidl Sr., 51, of Searsport, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Route 1.

    May 15

    Laura D. Macleod, 68, of Belmont, was issued a summons for operating with an expired license (90+ days) on Starrett Drive.

    May 18

    Maryann Ordelt, 50, of Searsport, was issued a summons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle (150+ days) on Waldo Avenue.

    Nickie Ripley, 30, of Belfast, was arrested for assault on Mason Pond Road.

    May 19

    Arthur L. Henderson, 61, of Belfast, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Spring Street.

    William E. Kohlenbush, 47, of Belfast, was issued a summons for failure to keep right on Route 1.
