Becoming an Outdoors Woman Intro Skills Weekend workshop is scheduled for October 9 to 11 at the UMaine 4-H Camp and Learning Center at Bryant Pond. Registration for the 2015 Introductory Skills Weekend is now open and spaces are filling up quickly!

Some of the sessions offered at the Intro Skills Weekend include topics such as firearms use and range safety, marksmanship, archery, bow hunting, ropes course, outdoor cooking, kayaking, canoeing, basic and advanced fishing, fly casting, outdoor survival, wilderness first aid, small motorboat handling, map and compass, GPS, outdoor photography, forest ecology, wild edibles, whitetail deer, waterfowl hunting, fly tying, turkey hunting and much more!

The cost to attend is $245 and includes all lodging, meals, equipment and instruction.  A limited number of scholarships are available, for more information CLICK HERE
