Become a Red Cross disaster volunteer

ROCKLAND — The Maine region of the American Red Cross is offering a Zero2Hero disaster volunteer course in Rockland, December 5 and 6.

The Online Orientation, Disaster Services Overview 1 and 2, Shelter Fundamentals, and Client Casework are being offered as two-day course.  A free optional First Aid/CPR course on Sunday for anybody who completes the other two days of training is also being offered.

New volunteers can sign up by going to www.maineredcross.org, clicking "Volunteer" in the left hand menu, and then "Zero2Hero Application."

Current volunteers can log into Volunteer Connections, and head to "My Chapter" and Maine Region Calendar. Click on the Zero2Hero event on December 5/6, and click Register.
