ROCKLAND — The Coastal Children's Museum will be hosting a nature-based workshop with Brett Willard from Merryspring Nature Center on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. During this workshop, Willard will talk to kids about owls.

Children will also get a chance to get an up-close look at an owl pellet. As they pick it apart, they can discover what the owls had been eating.

Space is limited for this workshop, so register by calling 207-596-0300 or email programs@coastalchildrensmuseum.org.

Willard, originally from Burnt Hills, N.Y., has Bachelor of Science in environmental studies from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. His programs are hands-on and call on his deep understanding and love of nature.

Merryspring Nature Center is a nonprofit, privately-owned 66-acre park and education center in Camden and Rockport, offering talks, classes and workshops throughout the year.

This workshop is included in the price of admission and free for members.
