The synthesis of music, comedy and technology, AudioBody’s performance is an electronic journey into an unknown realm of seriously spectacular entertainment. Featuring an explosive mix of sibling rivalry, technological mishaps, relentless comedy, full-body contortion, juggling, LED light shows a 15-foot wide drum set and up beat music, the Tardy Brothers never disappoint.

Venture out to the Opera House Saturday, May 3 and watch as AudioBody find common ground between circus-arts and science fiction.

Brothers Matthew and Jason Tardy started their performing career in 1994 as young teenagers in a small town in Maine. They were seen by local physical comedian Michael Miclon, who noticed their natural rapport with the audience and he invited them to apprentice and tour with him. Along the way they trained extensively at the Celebration barn with Mime Master Tony Montanaro as well as Broadway comedians, gold-medal jugglers, and Cirque Du Soleil performers.

The Tardy brothers started creating music under the name AudioBody in 2004. Their music was then quickly picked up by internationally acclaimed film-makers, EepyBird, and featured in two Emmy nominated videos depicting The Extreme Diet Coke and Mentos Experiments.

Since then they have emerged with an arsenal of audio-visual inventions, including wearable electronic jumpsuits that play music as they move, LED light tubes that are manipulated at high speeds in the dark, a 15 foot wide electronic drum set, fluorescent light ropes that form the shapes of sound waves, and countless other unique performance gadgets.

The members of AudioBody have performed throughout the country and around the world including at the Atlantic Resort in the Bahamas, at the Golden Phoenix in Reno, three times at the White House, and on several television stages including David Letterman, CBS Sunday Morning, Inside Edition and The Early Show.

This is a show for all ages, and one that starts early. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the curtain goes up on AudioBody at 7 p.m.
