BELFAST - On a warm, sunny November day, athenahealth arrived at Broadreach Family & Community Services in Belfast with nearly 70 volunteers from its Small Group Account Management Team for a day of service. Working side-by-side, employees from both organizations cleaned, painted, organized, planted and shined. athenahealth employees in their purple shirts provided much needed work to Broadreach's two buildings at 5 and 8 Stephenson Lane in Belfast.

"We are so pleased with the generosity of athenahealth to share its employees with us for a morning of community service to help further our mission," said Broadreach Executive Director Gail Jones-Wilkerson in a press release. "With this incredible group of workers, we were able to complete jobs that otherwise would take us months to do. Our bulbs are planted for the spring, our offices are painted and de-cluttered, and our grounds are spruced up."

An athenahealth employee summed up their experience: "It was very rewarding for me to help the team at Broadreach. They were so welcoming and appreciative of our efforts. In just a few hours, we could see the positive impact we had on their working environment by helping to clean and organize the building inside and out."
