The Midcoast sports scene was busy with several sporting events on Wednesday, April 26.

7th Grade Baseball: Medomak 16, Camden-Rockport 4 (April 25)

Medomak Middle School seventh grade baseball team opened their season April 25 at home versus the Camden-Rockport seventh graders and came away with a 16-4 win behind strong hitting and pitching.

On the mound for Medomak were Colby Brown (one hit, six walks and one strikeout), Ryan Jarvis (three walks, one strikeout) and Jake Bickmore (one walk, two strikeouts).

Pacing the offense for the Riverhawks were Brown (two singles, double), Bickmore (single, double) and Austin Brewer (two singles, double). 

Medomak racked up 11 hits while Camden-Rockport managed one.
