    APPLETON — Appleton, (population approximately 1,316) today, June 14, had a fairly strong election turnout at the polls, with 100 voters casting ballots in the Republican and Democratic primary, and 239 out of 970 registered voters casting votes for the municipal election and both school budget referendums.
