All Five Town Football teams conclude seasons

CAMDEN — The youth football season for the three Five Town Youth Football teams has come to a close. 

The three squads — junior varsity, varsity and middle school, concluded the season over the past few days, and on five game winning streak for those at the middle school level. 

The middle school level ‘Jammers, not affiliated with Camden-Rockport Middle School, bested Oceanside 55-12 Tuesday, Oct. 28 in Rockland. 

Per a Facebook post on the organization’s page, 11 different players scored touchdowns this season for the team. 

In the playoffs Saturday, Oct. 25, held at the Camden Snow Bowl, the junior varsity ‘Jammers fell to Rockland Black 33-0, while the varsity team fell 38-13. 

For the junior varsity playoffs, Rockland Black will face Boothbay and the varsity Rockland Black team will battle Medomak Valley in the league championship contests, both to be played Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Camden Snow Bowl.
