Carol%2BJesse%2B1.JPGCarol Bisbee is the mother of three beautiful children; two sons and a daughter. They are the light of her life! As they grew, she wanted to spend as much quality time with them as possible. One way she was able to do this was to become a Den Mother of a local Girl Scout troop, empowering and educating young women of our community! As Carol strolled across the beautiful weather worn bridge with Stephanie Carignan and Jesse Rishani from Private Home Care, Inc., with a smile she reached out to touch the memory filled bridge.

Carol retold a a story of her Girl Scout troop raising money to have the bridge built back in the 1960's. The joy on her face was contagious as she smiled with glee revisiting the memories she held so dear here at the Belfast City Park. Once across the bridge, Carol sat in her wheelchair chatting about the fun she had with the girls at the magical City Park.

It's strange to think my children and I have walked across the bridge so many times and never realized the significance it holds. Never again will I cross this bridge without thinking of Carol and her contagious smile. She brought joy to my life, just by walking through one of her precious memories with me. I hope by sharing this story with all of you, it brings you happiness, and encourages you to take a stroll through Belfast City Park.

Thank you Carol for sharing your memories with all of us.
