With it being the end of the year, many of you will start with new Health Saving/Flex Spending plans for next year.  Many of these plans allow you to save for Lasik corrective surgery.  If you have considered this, now may be the time to start setting aside money.

Having had Lasik myself 7 years ago, I would love to walk you through the process, talk to you about what to expect, and I can even co-manage your pre-op and post-op care.  We can also talk about the different types of corrective surgery procedures, femtosecond technology and what all the hype is about custom treatment.  I went from being dependent on corrective eye wear to literally no correction in 24 hours, and 7 years later I am still picking up some of the 20/10 letters in my exam room.  It has allowed me to enjoy camping, swimming and traveling with my family with no concerns about contact lens or glasses limitations.  Hunting and fishing in the fog or with drizzle and rain are less of a hamper for me and  I especially like the fact that when camping in a tent, I can investigate those little noises that you hear, or simply be able to get up in the middle of the night and not step on my poor dog.  I also have some nice pairs of sunglasses, because there are more options available when no prescription is required.
