On Wednesday, September 17th, residents and staff from The Residence at Tall Pines boarded the bus for a trip to Acadia National Park.  After driving to the park, Denise, Activities Director at The Residence, stopped at the Hulls Cove Visitors Center to let folks stretch their legs and get information on what the park has to offer.  She then drove Park Loop Road, stopping to see Thunder Hole, Otter Cliff, Sand Beach and other notable spots.

Residents enjoyed their picnic lunch, which had been specially prepared for this trip by The Residence’s dining staff, at scenic Fabbri rest stop.  They then rode to the top of Cadillac Mountain for some amazing views, including the Porcupine Islands in Frenchman Bay.

Upon returning to The Residence, those who went shared their stories and their excitement with their neighbors who had opted to stay home. All agreed, it was a fabulous trip worthy of repeating next year!
