On Tuesday, May 31 from 6:30-8pm at the Belfast Free Library, there will be a free illustrated presentation with conservation biologist, artist and fiction writer Dr. Alison Dibble, who spent ten days exploring eastern Cuba.  "While Havana gets media attention, El Oriente (the East) has a rich history, welcoming people, and gorgeous wild places," says Dibble, who stayed in Cuban homes, visited farms, looked for bees, made many new friends and explored beautiful parks.  She will exhibit oil paintings inspired by her experiences.  Come and gain some practical ideas for your own trip!
