Now is the time to view and select courses for upcoming university summer and fall semesters at University College at Rockland. Registration dates vary according to campuses within the system, with most campuses opening registration to the public in April.

Students may earn a degree from any of the University of Maine System campuses at University College at Rockland. Courses in education, computer information systems, health and human services, business, nursing, library science, counseling, and the liberal arts are all part of the summer and fall schedules. Courses are offered on-site, online, and via interactive television and videoconference. Summer sessions typically run for seven weeks.

In addition to courses, University College at Rockland offers students a full range of support services. Center advisors provide career counseling and assist students with financial aid applications, course registrations, book orders, computer access, and more.

Deborah Meehan, Director of University College at Rockland encourages those who are thinking about taking a course or exploring degree programs to contact the center for an advising session. "It's free and we can quickly get you headed in the right direction."

“Summer is a great time to take classes,” added Meehan. “The shorter sessions allow students to get ahead or catch up and lighten their course load during the fall and spring semesters.” Financial aid is available to support summer courses.
