Spring Clean Your Medicine Cabinet!

The staff at Private Home Care, Inc. would like to remind you to check the expiration dates on all your medications at least once per year. In our travels, we’ve found that expired medications are a common occurrence in medicine cabinets. Medications should always kept up to date, even over-the- counter. Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and cold medications should not be given after they expire.

Dispose of your medications and properly, so they won’t end up in our water supplies. Contact your local Police Station to find out how, or attend one of these local events:

Drug Take-Back

Bring prescription or over-the-counter pills to the Belfast Police Station or the Searsport Public Safety Building between 10:00a.m. and 2:00p.m., on Saturday, April 29.

Another date will be scheduled for Unity.

If you cannot make this date, Triad has drug collection boxes in the entryway of the Waldo County sheriff’s office and Searsport Police Department. These boxes are available weekdays from 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
