SAT season is upon us! This year all Juniors attending public school in Maine are required to take the SATs on April 5^th. The other Spring test dates are March 11^th, May 6^th and June 3^rd. The public high school that your son or daughter attends will automatically sign students up for the April test date and will administer the test at school. The other dates will be administered at Oceanside HS and you can register through the College Board website.

The Study Hall offers a variety of SAT Prep options to fit all Junior’s individual needs. This year is no exception as we will be offering One-On-One Prep at The Study Hall as well as via Skype, Small Group Prep, and Classes.  In order to help you decide the best option for your son or daughter we provide a free PSAT Analysis. If your son or daughter did not take the fall PSAT test we can provide a test for them. Call or email the office to set this up.

Below you will find our SAT Prep Class schedule. One-on-one and small groups can be scheduled by calling the office. We have a variety of options including nights and weekends. The cost of one-on-one prep is $60 an hour and we generally recommend a minimum of 6 hours per subject. You also have the option of putting together a small group (2-4 students). The cost of small group prep is $45 an hour per student and we recommend meeting a minimum of twice a week for 6 weeks leading up to the SAT test date.

New this year take advantage of our Refer-A-Friend program. Receive a $50 credit towards an SAT Prep Class when you refer a friend (and they enroll their son or daughter) in one of our SAT Prep Classes. They simply need to write your name on the Refer-A-Friend line on the enrollment form!

The cost is $325 for one subject (math or verbal) or $550 for both subjects. There is an additional book/materials fee of $20. All groups meet at our facility in Rockport at 341 West Street.
