Want to get in a good word with Santa before Christmas? On Saturday, December 20th at 2pm, the Coastal Children’s Museum will be visited by Santa. We all know that he is a busy man this time of year. We were lucky enough to schedule a last minute visit from him before he has to be back up to the North Pole to prep his reindeer for take off and give pep talks to the elves. Santa will be handing out bags of reindeer food for children to take home and sprinkle outside on Christmas Eve so the reindeer have some treats to keep them going all night long!

Children of all ages are welcome. For more information, you can call the museum at 596-0300 or email at info@coastalchildrensmuseum.org. Program is free with admission.

Located at 75 Mechanic Street in Rockland, the Coastal Children’s Museum is dedicated to providing children aged 2-9 an opportunity to explore, discover and learn through play about the natural world, the arts and sciences and the diversity of Maine’s coast.  They are open year round Wednesday through Saturday 10-4pm and Sundays 1-4pm.  Visit coastalchildrensmuseum.org for more information on events and memberships available.
