On Monday evening Herb Annis representing the Rockland Valley Scottish Rite Masons presented its 2015 scholarship to Aaron Smeltzer of Waldoboro.  Aaron, mom Holly, Dad Paul and Grandfather Richard all joined the St. Paul's Lodge of Masons and Scottish Rite members for dinner prior to the presentation.

Aaron will be attending St. Michael’s University in Vermont and will be studying Pediatric Oncology. He revealed to everyone that this is a pay forward type of deal as he himself is a survivor of cancer at an early age. Especially proud Dad Paul and Grandfather Richard are both members of King Solomon’s Lodge of Masons in Waldoboro. Mom, Dad & Granddad all said they were extremely proud of Aaron.
