The Riley School was awarded Best Non-profit Float in this year’s 70th Anniversary Lobster Festival Parade. It was the first time Riley has participated in the parade. The Hamann-Slawson family & the Martin family of Rockland led the volunteer efforts. The float design was inspired by the forts Riley children have constructed in the woods on the 20 acre Riley campus. “We heard a lot of cheers for Riley along the parade route,” said Todd Martin (Riley parent & facilitator), “it was a fun day full of friends.” Rebecca Clapp, Head of School commented that she is, “so proud and inspired by the collaboration of families.  We suspect this will become another annual Riley tradition!”
