Riley School Musical Theater Performance

Thursday, May 25th 6:30 p.m.

All Are Welcome!

On Thursday, May 25th beginning at 6:30 p.m., the Riley School will perform a musical theater duo.  Led by the creative collaboration of Music and Performing Arts Facilitators, Hillary Dalpini and Caitlin Schick, the Lower School children will open the evening with Three Nanny Goats Gruff, a charming twist on the classic tale of three goats in search of greener pastures. The Middle and Upper School will follow with singing and dancing in the lively musical, Twinderella. Did you know that Cinderella had a long lost twin brother with his own evil step-family, living in the same kingdom? When an all-kingdom baseball game and a birthday gala are announced, the separated siblings enlist the services of a fairy Godmother, a mafioso Godfather, and two enchanted gerbils to help wile their way into the exclusive royal festivities.

This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Location: The theater at the Riley School 73 Warrenton St., Rockport. For more information call the office at 207-595-6405 or email: info@rileyschool.org

An independent, progressive elementary school in mid-coast Maine, the Riley School was founded in 1972 to provide children with an individualized educational experience based on trusting the child as a learner, honoring childhood and building strong relationships within the community. Accredited by the New England Association of School and Colleges and the Maine State Department of Education, the Riley School enrolls children ages 2-14.  Applications are currently being accepted for the 2017-18 school year.
