When the roads are covered in snow, plows are out in full force, and the churches, school’s, government offices, and businesses shut down, Private Home Care, Inc. stays open. While our office personnel may not be in that day, our caregivers and coordinators are out! Private Home Care, Inc faces snow banks taller than our cars; wind that blow trees down in front of us, and driveways not yet shoveled or plowed. Our staff has snowshoed into homes to make sure the residents living there are all set and okay.

Private Home Care, Inc. has a wide variety of clients. Some are fairly independent, who can brave the storm on their own with just a phone check-in here and there throughout the storm. Some clients have loved ones who are able to come and stay with them during the storm, and know they can give us a call if the need arises. Some of our clients have only the caregivers we provide to rely on. Clients who have family out of state or no loved ones left depend on Private Home Care, Inc to make it to them when we are supposed to be there! It is our great pleasure to be the company so many have confidence in. We are proud to say we work hard to match clients with staff that will work best for everyone. All our staff are caring, sympathetic and compassionate individuals. The proof of this shows in the way our staff cares for these individuals and offer to do a double shift, or stay the night on days we get a northeaster, so that someone will be there first thing in the morning.

Our caring staff are all fabulous and our coordinators who plan, schedule and go out themselves are what keep our company running smoothly and effectively. Private Home Care, Inc.  has caught their coordinators in action riding to a client’s in a plow truck or snowshoeing into their yard. Once there, our staff or coordinators stay until everything is set or until the next staff arrives. Some of the things we do are preparing meals, anticipate power outages, make sure drinkable water is available, medications are taken, and any other necessity may be needed for the client.
