Back in the day (as we like to say), my husband Justin, was one of those “Park Kids” who hung out in Camden and skateboarded everywhere in the 1980s.  Below in the gallery is a photo of Justin and his pal Chris skateboarding and up close is the tiny (one inch) skateboard he made complete with grip tape and artistic designs beneath the board, just like he used to do as a teen. There's a book that comes with this bench as well, because, you know, Justin may be a punk at heart, but he ain’t no dummy. The bench is also handcrafted and stained by Justin and is approximately four inches long. The skate is one inch long. This one-of-a-kind miniature art piece is an ode to Camden’s parks in the 1980s and can purchased at the Red Barn Marketplace on Route 1, Lincolnville. Wed-Sun 8-4. Or contact me for a custom bench, skate and book.
