With the win, MDI moves to 6-1 on the season while Oceanside falls to 3-4.

The game started slow, it was at the 5:15 mark in the first quarter before Oceanside scored the first basket of the game. There was just 3:58 on the clock when MDI tied the score at 2-2. Neither team could get a basket to fall while both teams played tough defense.
