The National Marionette Theatre was founded in 1967 by artistic director, David A. Syrotiak. This award-winning company has been entertaining audiences around the world with their extraordinary productions ever since.

After each performance, the puppeteers do a brief demonstration of the mechanics and manipulation of a traditional marionette, followed by a question and answer session focusing on the inner workings of a marionette theater.

Waldo County Healthcare is sponsoring the performances by the National Marionette Theatre.
