Friday, November 20, is the Belfast Co-op's monthly 'Love LOCAL Day', celebrating Maine's bounty.  Maria of Little Lad's (Corinth) will provide free samples of their products between 11am and 3pm, which will be discounted 10% all day.

The Love Local Day lunch special will highlight local ingredients:

Maine Clam Cake Dinner: 2 clam cakes made with local clams from Maine Maritime Products (Belfast), Aunt Polly's Old-Timey Cole Slaw, and Bondeson Farms (New Sweden) Potato Fries; $9.99.

ALL Maine products will be discounted 10% all day.  Over the past year, Co-op customers purchased $2,150,000+ in local (Maine-grown, raised, harvested and produced) products!  The Co-op stocks over 2,200 Maine-made products.
