Monthly Art Opening & Wine Tasting at the Belfast Co-op

Bank Burana of Central Distributors will host this month's tasting with a focus on seasonal wines.
On Friday, May 22 from 7 to 8pm in the Belfast Co-op Café, there will be a free wine tasting of highlighted seasonal wines and the opening for "Presence", an exhibit of artwork in several mediums by Ed Moffitt, which will be on display in the Café through late June. Bank Burana of Central Distributors will host this month's tasting with a focus on seasonal wines, along with Jaap Helder from the Co-op's wine department. Featured wines will be 10% off during the tasting; participants must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
Ed Moffitt has taught basic drawing, life drawing, oil painting and working with mixed media, both privately and in small groups. His work is primarily in graphite, charcoal and mixed media on illustration board, plywood, various papers and canvas, as well as occasional sculpture.
