Midcoast Lyme Disease Support & Education

Event has passed

Midcoast Lyme Disease Support & Education (MLDSE) was created and exists to raise awareness, foster education, advocate for change and provide support for those affected by Lyme Disease and other tick-borne associated diseases. We are a Maine-state recognized affiliate of the national Lyme Disease Association organization.

We have a vast resource of connections to Lyme-literate physicians, testing facilities and existing financial support. We are connected at a nationwide level for those with loved ones in other states who are looking for help. We can provide them with local Lyme connections in their area. People can contact us directly and we will do everything in our power to get them connected to local providers who can assist them on their journey back to wellness.

Our group meets the second Tuesday of each month from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland. For more information about Midcoast Lyme Disease Support & Education, our meetings or events, contact Paula Jackson Jones at 446-6447 or Angele Rice at 841-8757.
