JOIN US AT SUMMER CAMP!

Come spend a week with us this summer discovering the different coastal habitats of Maine! Roll up your sleeves and explore the rocky shore, salt marshes, mudflats, and more. Look under rocks for sea stars, dig in the muck for clams, and wade into the water to net small fish.

Experience a different habitat every day by visiting incredible field sites for hands-on ocean exploration guided by our experienced and talented staff. Collect what you find to take it back to the lab for closer inspection. Learn even more about coastal habitats by designing and building aquariums to mimic the real thing. But that is not all: activities, experiments, art projects, games, the list goes on!

SPECIAL DAYS

On Thursday we hop on a boat and travel a few miles offshore to visit Allen Island! This beautiful private island has many of the marine habitats discussed throughout the week and is just waiting to be explored.

Friday, the last day of camp, you be the expert! We will spend the morning preparing interactive exhibits, then invite families and community members to join us as you explain all of your findings from a week of marine science discovery.
