Make Bird Giving Balls at The Coastal Children’s Museum

Event has passed

Help keep the birds warm this winter with a giving ball for the wild birds! Kim Scheimreif will be here on Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 11am to help kids create this thoughtful craft that can be hung outside so the birds can collect items from the ball to make themselves a warm nest for those cold winter nights. The materials in the giving balls will be recycled items from Kim's farm, so not only does this benefit our feathered friends, but it's also good for the environment!

Kim's homestead, Shepherds and Such Homesteading Farm, is located in Waldoboro, ME, where she creates beeswax candles, and wool accessories. She sells her creations at a local co-op, Medomak River Community Market, located on Friendship, St. in Waldoboro. She also attends the Bath Farmers Market, which takes place every Saturday. Visit Kim’s Facebook page HERE
