Fall is here, and once again the nurses of the Camden Area District Nursing Association are preparing to offer local flu clinics for adults.  There is a certain charm about the option of going to a clinic where you meet up with neighbors also receiving their 2014 vaccines.  The John Street United Methodist Church  in Camden will be the site for the flu clinic on October 9.  Another clinic is scheduled for September 27 at Tranquility Grange in Lincolnville.

People may attend either of the two clinics, regardless of where they reside.  There is no charge for those enrolled in Medicare who bring their Medicare cards.  Others may pay the $30 charge by check or cash.  Those with private health insurance are asked to pay on the day of the clinic, and then may submit claims to their own companies.  Sorry, there are no provisions for credit card payments.

On Saturday, September 27, from 9:00 – 11:30 am, the nurses will be at the Tranquility Grange, 2191 Belfast Road (Route 52), Lincolnville.

On Thursday, October 9, from 1:00-3:00 pm, a clinic will be held at the John Street United Methodist Church, 98 John Street in Camden.
