History Along The Damariscotta River with Tim Dinsmore.

An Historical archeologist, Tim Dinsmore will speak about what he has found along the river with a focus on early shipwrights.

Affiliated with the Damariscotta River Association, Tim’s work includes managing the Archeological Field School in our area for the past sixteen years. This year,  Tim Dinsmore will continue his research work on the 18th-century Bryant-Barker Tavern site located along the west bank of the upper Damariscotta River in Newcastle. This research is part of Tim's study of colonial shipwrights and their families that he has undertaken since 1980. Come to The Lincoln Home to hear him tell of what he has found!

Don’t miss this series, which is free and open to the public.  To register contact Carolyn: carolyn@lincoln-home.org or 536-3350 ext.14, or just drop in.
