Please join us on Wednesday, July 29 at 6 p.m. at the Highlands Coffee House on Main Street in Thomaston for the third annual Herring Gut Silent Art Auction.  The auction will feature live music, a cash bar and light refreshments and is open to families, adults, children, and guests.  This year’s auction will include pieces by many local, represented artists including Jamie Wyeth, Alan Magee, Anna B. McCoy, and Nancy Baker.  The beautiful painting, Pondering Place, of Herring Gut’s campus by artist Jill Valliere will also be raffled off.

“For the last two years, the Herring Gut auction has been a wonderful way to showcase our unique, effective marine science and aquaculture-based programs for students, teachers and the community while having a lot of fun,” says David Lamon, Herring Gut Executive Director. “We are looking forward to collaborating with The Highlands Coffee House again and are astounded by the generosity of the art community and sponsors.”

Thank you to our lead sponsor Bath Savings Trust as well as sponsorships from the following generous supporters: Blue Tulip, Camden National Bank, Cindy Lang- Legacy Properties Sotheby's International Realty, East Wind Inn, LT Auctions, Murray Builders, O’Hara Corporation, St. George Realty, and Stonefish.
