- Private group -

Event has passed

Join us for a three-part French Cooking and Conversation series on Tuesdays, February 27th and March 6th and 13th from 5:15-8:15 p.m.  Cooking and conversation classes are fun and promote the use of all senses while learning the targeted language.

This three week course will focus on regional dishes of Nord pas de Calais, Alsace and Provence and will include dishes such as gratin de chicons au chèvre (an appetizer that includes broiled endives), rissoles au four (pastry puffs stuffed with meat, vegetables or fish), and tarte a l’abricot et aux amandes (apricot-almond tart).  Registrants will sit down to a full French meal at the close of each evening.

Instructor, Clovis Anjard, was born on the French island of Reunion just east of Madagascar, and raised in Normandy, France, and brings significant culinary and teaching experience to this class.  He has taught in middle and high schools, and at the University of Georgia.  Anjard enjoys bringing his love of French culture to the kitchen in this multi-sensory class.

$185 per person includes nine hours of instruction.  Previous experience with French is not required.
