Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) will offer free cholesterol screenings outside the PBMC cafeteria in honor of National Wear Red Day, which is celebrated the first Friday in February each year to raise awareness about heart disease in women. Keeping your cholesterol in a healthy range is one of the factors that can help prevent heart disease. The screenings are free and open to both women and men.
