Designed for teachers at any grade level, students in this course will learn about important topics in educational technology, such as digital literacy, safety and privacy, collaboration, and preparing students to be good digital citizens. Students will explore a variety of technology tools and apps and leave this course with a collection of resources and several integrated lesson plans.

This course is appropriate for both the pre-service teacher and practicing educator, with any level of technical expertise. Teachers will be encouraged to use technology to engage students in active learning experiences.

The course will be taught by Anne Fensie, an instructional designer with the University of Maine System.  Fensie's love of teaching with technology tools makes her a great fit for this material.
