Are you looking for a jump start to your fitness training?  Are you training for an event or a race?  Are you lost in the gym?  Have you thought about Personal Training but not sure where to get started?

Personal Trainers are coaches that help you achieve your fitness goals.  They can help you train for a sport, obstacle course races, or simply to get in better physical shape.  Trainers help you create muscle balance as well as motivate you to work hard.  They can help you achieve your goals faster by giving you the motivation to keep going when you want to quit.  Trainers create safe, effective programs to help you get to that finish line!

MRC has 2 new Personal Trainers that are now taking new clients.  Thor Emory and Brystle Noble both Certified NASM Trainers have openings for new clients.

Thor Emory grew up in Bar harbor, Maine.. He is an experienced outdoor educator and athlete. He worked for the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School at a senior level for 15-years, was a professional ski patroller out west, and created Thorfinn Expeditions, an adventure business, here in the Midcoast. As an athlete, Thor was a high school all-american lacrosse player before turning his attention to outdoor endurance activities including adventure races, paddling, running and backcountry skiing. Currently, he competes at a high level in stand up paddle boarding, is the lacrosse program director and trainer at The Pitch, is a NASM certified personal trainer, and lives in Camden with his two young sons.  He believes in the value of athletic training for life enjoyment, injury prevention, and developing higher levels of performance.

Brystle Noble is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and ACE certified Group fitness instructor and is currently pursuing a certification in Corrective Exercise Strategies and TRX instruction. Brystle is an avid standup paddleboarder and recently became a Registered Maine Guide offering paddling lessons and SUP fitness instruction.   “I have always carried a passion for fitness, but after having children I struggled to find the balance between parenting, work, and health. With determination, commitment, and support from my friends, family, and good trainers I was finally able to find that balance. My dream is to be that support for others. I’m ready to train the busy moms and dads, the career-focused individual with limited time, to the athlete with a dream, or anyone looking to improve their health. If you have a fitness goal, I’m ready to help!”

MRC offers a private, personal training studio away from the crowds of the gym so you and your trainer can stay focused on your workout.  Our space is open, sunny and friendly.  Come on by or call to set up an appointment for a free consult.  Your goals are waiting to happen!
