At The Study Hall learning is always a priority as well as a lifelong opportunity. Sara Rademacher has been a tutor at The Study Hall since the Rockport office opened in 2005. She works with students on a variety of areas including English, Writing, History, Organization, SAT and ACT prep, and many other standardized tests or entrance exams.

This summer Sara was accepted into the College Counseling Certificate Program offered through the University of California at San Diego. This program will enable Sara to expand on the skills she already employs working with students who are preparing for college. The curriculum includes classes on college admissions counseling, financial aid as well as other counseling related topics. The program focuses on how to work with students and their families as they try to navigate the challenging college admissions process.  One of the most interesting things about the program so far is the very diverse group of students in the program - there are students from all over the world, including Japan, Brazil and the Middle East. The Study Hall has always been a local resource for families when dealing with challenging topics at school, looking to improve in a particular subject, writing college essays or preparing for SAT tests. The Study Hall believes that there is always more to learn about and that by pursuing this knowledge they will be able to better serve our students and their families.
