College Application Fee Waived for July

The University of Maine at Augusta announced that it is waiving the application fee for the month of July including for those students at University College at Rockland.

Whether you wish to attend full-time or part-time, applying to UMA and taking your courses at University College at Rockland is a simple 3-step process: fill out the application; get your high school and any college transcripts; and, mail or bring it all in. For most UMA programs admissions runs on a rolling basis which means they accept applications at any time.The fall term begins August 31.

According to URock's Director, Deborah Meehan, "We like to encourage interested students to come in now and begin to start the paperwork and discuss a personalized plan.  hat will make the college start in the fall much smoother and put all the financial pieces in place."

Some academic programs do have competitive requirements or limited space. However, even for those programs students may apply and get admitted to the Liberal Studies program in order to begin general education requirements.
