Chimney sweep scared of heights!

I wasn’t always a chimney sweep in Maine.

In Hawaii I did a variety of seasonal things to survive, from picking mangos to diving with the whales, but much of the time I was a carpenter, or at least I thought I was, until that one fateful day I took a thirty foot fall from the roof onto a concrete slab, breaking my ankle in two and breaking my pelvis giving me a two month expense paid vacation to Maui Memorial Hospital, so I have a very respectful fear of heights, even though I climb like a monkey. So I had to overcome this fear by desensitizing myself.

So I started collecting ladders, first a little 12’ ladder, then a 24’ ladder, until finally I had collected and mastered the use of every bit of safety equipment on the market, up to and including a 60’ aerial bucket truck. We even rent 120’ cranes. Our 60’ ladder cost $1600!

So heck yes! I’m afraid of heights, but not after we get all that safety gear up to your chimney top.

That’s when I relax and take a panoramic photo of your view knowing I’m completely safe at your big tall scary chimney top.

We are getting so many calls you need to get put on the schedule ASAP.
