Children’s House Montessori School Students Donate to Camden Area Food Pantry

Wed, 03/07/2018 - 1:15pm

On Tuesday March 6th, students from the Elementary class at Children's House Montessori School delivered donations to the Camden Area Food Pantry. Throughout the month of February, the Toddler, Primary, and Elementary students brought non-perishable food items to their classrooms to donate. Students were excited to see the donations piling higher each day! The Elementary students then collected, packaged and delivered the donations. This annual tradition at Children’s House Montessori emphasizes the important need of caring for others within our community.

Established in 1979, the mission of Children's House Montessori School is to provide an educational culture that respects the child's innate desire to learn. Our school fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking while preparing every child to be a thoughtful, independent, and compassionate global citizen. We are now enrolling children aged 18 months to 10 years. For more information, contact Jody Curtis at 207-236-2911 or visit camdenmontessori.org.
