Campaign Season Now in Full Swing

Local incumbent Democratic legislators and their challengers will present their positions to voters at the traditional Courier-Gazette Candidates’ Night on Wednesday September 24.
From 7-9 p.m. at Rockland City Hall, candidates for Maine House seats in Districts 92 and 93 will take questions from the public on campaign issues.
Participating will be incumbent Representative Elizabeth Dickerson, the Democrat running for House District 93 to represent Rockland and Owls Head, and her opponent, Republican James Kalloch, both of Rockland.
Also participating will be candidates for House District 92, which represents Cushing, Thomaston, South Thomaston, St. George and Matinicus. They are Democratic incumbent Representative Chuck Kruger of Thomaston and his Republican opponent, Sonja Sleeper of South Thomaston.
The event is free, and everyone is welcome. Rockland City Hall is at 270 Pleasant Street.
Democrats have great candidates, and they are working hard to connect with voters, exchange views and win their races. Please show your support by coming out to this and other events. Candidates love to see supporting faces in the crowd.
