Balsamic Chicken in the Crock Pot

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp salt (optional)

1/2 tsp pepper

2 tsp dried minced onion

4 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tbls FIORE Mild to Medium Intensity Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/2 cup FIORE 18 Year Traditional Style Balsamic Vinegar

8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

1 pinch fresh chopped parsley

Combine the first five ingredients (the dry ingredients) in a small bowl; then sprinkle over chicken pieces and rub on both sides. Cover chicken, refrigerate overnight.

When ready to cook, pour olive oil and garlic on the bottom of the crock pot. Place refrigerated chicken on top of that.

Pour balsamic vinegar over the chicken. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours (or low for 8 hours). Sprinkle with fresh parsley on top to serve.  Enjoy!
