The unmistakable sounds of bag pipes and drums will resonate throughout Simonton Corner, Wednesday, July 30th beginning at 6pm when the Anah Highlanders visit RMC for the continuing lawn concert series.  The Highlanders are a traditional pipe band made up of members of the Masonic fraternity who are also members of the Shrine. 

As usual there will be no admission fee for the concert, however a hat will be passed for donations which will be donated to the Shriner’s burn hospital, which is just one of the charities the Masons donate over $2 million dollars to each day.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the summer evening and the outstanding sounds of the pipes and drums.  $6 burger or hot dog plates will be available for purchase for that picnic supper as well. Plates include one burger or 2 hot dogs, a side, chips, drink and an ice cream.  The center is located at 361 Main St, which is just up the street form the Simonton Corner 4-way stop signs.  FMI please call Jeff at 691-2270.
