8/19: PAMELA HANSEN, Featured ARTWALK Artist at The Lincoln Home

Event has passed

The Lincoln Home hosts special guest artist, Pamela Hansen, in our living room, Friday, August 19, 4:00 to 7:00pm during the Twin Villages ARTWALK.  Pamela’s bold and colorful compositions juxtapose the fragileness and simplicity of everyday objects with bold patterned designs and abstract landscapes building on the ebb and flow of patterns in nature.

Pamela shares, “Color and energy have always been at the core of my artistic journey.  Pieces of paint, each with its unique shape and texture, set the rhythm and tempo for each of my paintings. I like to use joyous colors to jolt as well as calm the senses. I have developed a style influenced by my life experiences of the past as well as by the light, shadows, colors, beauty and wildness of the present, living in Maine.”

Sample delicious hors d’oeuvres during the artist reception, meet Pamela and take home one of her beautiful paintings.

Pamela and her two dogs, Barton and Braeburn, are frequent visitors and have a special relationship with the Lincoln Home residents. With any sales of her work, Pamela has offered to donate twenty five percent of the proceeds to Lincoln Home Resident Financial Assistance Fund.  The Lincoln Home, a non-profit, takes no state monies of any kind but  endeavors to provide assistance to those who need help.
