The Lincoln Home is hosting “Lobster & More: A Real Maine Event,” a fun filled evening, August 13, on the banks of the Damariscotta River, starting at 4:00pm. Dine on delicious Maine lobsters, mouth-watering barbecue chicken, hamburgers and hotdogs, and top your meal off with a Maine blueberry dessert. Sample beers from the new Oxbow Brewery beer tent. All ages are invited to join in for some lively and easy to learn Contra Dancing. For art lovers, “Art on the Porch” exhibit and sale will showcase paintings by Will Kefauver, pastels by Kim Traina, photographs by Stott Carleton and wooden sculptures by Jeff Raymond.  Join us for an evening of traditional Maine fun and delicious food, rain or shine,  all under a large  tent  in our open meadow overlooking the shore of the Damariscotta River. 

 “Lobster & More” is a special fundraising event that will help support the Financial Assistance Fund at The Lincoln Home for residents who have outlived their financial resources. For the last ten years, The Lincoln Home has provided over $200,000 a year of free housing and health care to residents in need and does not receive any state or federal monies.
