5/8: The Life of Frederick Douglass at The Lincoln Home

Please join Jerry Wiles, noted historian, on Monday, May 8, from 3:00 to 4:00pm, to learn the life story of Frederick Douglass.  Born into slavery in 1818, Frederick escaped as a young man and became a leading voice in the abolitionist movement.   For his entire life, he fought for equality and justice for all people.
